Longest day of the year last night..... and it's all down hill from here! Oh, well!
Course went well yesterday. LARGE class. About 30 people. I REALLY like our teacher, Tina- she has a good teaching style and has all sorts of funny stories to keep the energy levels up- which is a good thing as it's a long day, enjoyable or not! I recognized about 8 from the Strength Training course- including one of the instructors!
This is going to sound really bad, but I can't really remember what we did yesterday.... I know- sad! The first thing we did, and the most embarassing was we picked a partner- I had Doug who also happens to be quite cute! LOL! And we had about 5 minutes to talk, then we had to stand up and introduce the other person as the personal trainer we've hired and why! I HATE roll playing to begin with, but when it was our turn, he started in first and did the usual "passionate about what she does and believes what she says, motivating, empathetic, caring..." ect... but THEN he continues "has a great smile and personality and I like the color and style of her hais..." and I'm standing there blushing and flustered! I can't even remember what I said about him!
We did the energy systems and calculations for target heart rates. The last thing we did was posture and posture analysis. Aparently everything I do is wrong! Not only do I sit with my legs crossed, but I wear heels! Both no-no's! (and, yes, the rest of the day I spent trying to NOT sit with my legs crossed! Yeah... right! Then Tina asked who thinks they have bad posture, so I raised my hand. She had me in front of the class while she picked apart my posture. I have one shoulder lower than the other- which I knew- I had one of my arms pulled out of it's socket twice. But then she needed to determine if it was postural, so she's looking at my hips and the bony tips- which I tried real hard not to giggle as I'm insanely ticklish at the hips!!! But my posture otherwise is good- nothing at my hips, everything is aligned, though I do slightly hyper-extend my knees... and my ears are a little ahead of my shoulders, but that's probably due to sitting at a computer for 7 hours a day or more! However, then she had me lean forward, hands on knees as she felt up my spine and she found a deviation in my upper thoracic vertabrae (aka, scoliosis) And, gee- where is it? RIGHT where that knot from hell is! And it was funny because as I was standing (bent over) and Tina was talking, she slapped my back and even though it wasn't hard, it was right on the knot and it killed!!! Don't know why- but it made me jump in surprise and pain! But then, of course, we had to go into our pairs, so I had Doug. It was a little difficult for me as he's quite big- thick back, muscular shoulders... just broad (boy, was it hard to not act like an idiot asking if I can touch him!) but he ended up having almost perfect posture- despite one trap slightly more developed than the other! But then it's my turn- try not to blush when he asks to touch me. And try not to giggle as I suddenly become very ticklish!!!
Foolishness!
But we ended up finishing later than I expected, but it might mean finishing a little earlier tomorrow, which would be VERY nice! It's almost a good thing we finished late, though, as Shell wasn't home! She got home about 5 minutes before me! She has a nice place! Perfect for her! I'm glad- she needed a break and to get a bit ahead! I proceeded to sew the boas onto my panties- which was funny as when I was deciding what to do, I held up the panties as Shell came into the room, and she's looking at the thong and I was like "I'm wering them over something else!" Not like it would have mattered as the feathers covered everything! I started getting ready shortly after and, wow, despite not wearing very much, I was warm!!! Of course, I was wearing 5 layers on the bottom! A pair of underwear, nylons, fishnets, full-bum underwear, and thong with 2 boas sewn to it- and then I tucked another into the thong as I decided I needed more! But it looked good- so good Shell changed her outfit so we were dressed very similar!
Got some good pictures! So just wait for them! I'll post tonight!
I did drink- I had a couple rum and diet cokes and stopped at about 7ish. I did have munchies, but I was really good and didn't have any crap! I actually ate more my stuff- a protein bar and an apple I had left over. Someone had a shrip ring, so I was having shrimp. And there was some left over meat, so I had that. And there should be a cute picture of me eating an ear of corn!
I also did end up knowing one of the girls at the party. VERY indirectly, and if we met, it would have been almost 20 years ago. She's a highland dancer and so we were talking about that, and I mentioned that my last competition was the Inter-provincial championships in Whistler- and she was there as well! I still have the program, so I'll have to look her up to see if we competed against one another as I'm a year older, so it's hard to say. But cool, none the less!
Our buddy Jim was supposed to be at the party, but when I called him, he didn't realize it was that night! I felt kinda bad as when he came over, it was around 9 and I wasn't planning on staying much longer- as it was, I think it was close to 11 when I left! Got back to A&M at around 1130 and I was the first person home- though their daughter got home about 5 minutes after me! Ended up leaving my jacket at Shell's- I'll have to see if she's planning on coming into town today. If not, I'm sure I'll be seeing her next weekend as well! It was only my jean jacket and nothing important was in the pockets!
Anyhow, I should go. Get some breakfast and do my hair before it gets too late! I think I'm glad I have the jeans- it's actually kinda cool-looking today! Hopefully will be home between 7-8 tonight! CIAO!!!
